My name is Rena' Polczynski and I have been a Registered Nurse for 12 years. I chose this profession when I was in the eighth grade because I wanted to help people, while at the same time, work in a career that I loved, making enough money to support myself and my family. I had my sights set on the American dream of going to college, getting married, living comfortably and retiring with a comfortable nest egg. I married my high school sweetheart, and then really felt on track when I graduated at the top of my class with Honors.

I eventually made it to the point in my career where I felt comfortable with my income, but my job caused me so much stress and physical injuries, and I spent a ton of time away from home. Also, even though our income was comfortable, the more we made, the more we spent, so our debt began to accumulate. We realized that we were not building anything for our retirement and time began slipping away from us. We decided to make some immediate changes, and our motto became "We work to live, not live to work!"

In theory that was great, and temporarily we were able to put it into practice. We learned to SCUBA dive and started traveling overseas to explore new cultures and lifestyles. I took a nursing job in California for 7 months that allowed us to really enjoy so many more natural wonders and meet some really interesting people. Although we were having fun, there were several things that kept us from really enjoying ourselves. Not only were we away from our beautiful home and our families, but we were now in more debt, and we were worse off for retirement than before!

We decided to return to Texas to get everything in order. I took a job working 12-hour night shifts. Michael was back in school and either gone or studying all the time. We were back into our old routine, living to work. To make matters worse, I was about to have surgery followed by 6 -8 weeks of recovery time with no pay. We decided to do whatever it took to make a significant change and really enjoy our lives. Thanks to responding to an ad and a great personal coach, we are living the life we knew that we could. We have only been business owners for a short time and have already received more rewards than in 12 years as a nurse. Our first month as home business owners brought us a $1,200.00 income when I was recuperating from surgery and working only part time! And, recently our income has jumped to over $4,800 for the month! In addition to the freedom from financial and retirement worries, we are now meeting people and traveling anytime we choose, and not around our work schedule! We couldn't be more excited or feel better about our future than we do right now!
